Create memories with this beautiful wood inlay ring, hand crafted from a piece of hand picked Chacate wood, inlaid into a premium Stainless Steel Ring core.
We use Chacate wood, an extremely hard and dense wood, and a premium Stainless Steel core to make our Chacate wood Ring.
About the wood:
Chacate wood is extremely hard, and very dense. Its beautiful chocolate brown color and fine grain gives a beautiful end product when it is sanded. Due to its extreme hardness it is difficult to machine, and only sharp tooling should be used.
Smaller trees are used as fuelwood, as the wood burns slowly at high temperatures.
Heartwood is a rich, reddish brown to dark brown; color darkens with age. Clearly demarcated sapwood is a pale yellow.
Knots and other grain irregularities are not uncommon. Fine uniform texture.
